Whatever your current beliefs about God, or your past church experience, you are so welcome at Emmanuel.
There is no dress code, no prior experience of church, or faith required. You can come as you are.
Our meetings will be an hour and a half long.

Students

Our vision is to see students from both universities come to know Jesus and grow a deep, intimate, and lasting relationship with Him.
We believe in church as family and value the integration of students with the whole church, as well as specifically investing in students during this unique and exciting stage of life.

KIDS

We believe church is family, and our children play a key part in that.

We have kids groups for all pre-school (over 2) and primary aged children: EMBERS (2-3 Year Olds), FLAMES (Reception), BLAZE (Years 1-2), and IGNITE (Years 3-6).

EMBERS and FLAMES go out after the first two worship songs, and BLAZE and IGNITE go out at the end of worship. We encourage all families with children to enjoy singing in worship together, however long their kids are in before they go out to their groups.

In the kids groups, we aim to have lots of fun learning about Jesus, praying for each other and growing in our heart for others.

We are committed to the nurturing and safeguarding of our children, young people and adults when they are vulnerable. For full safeguarding information click below to visit our safeguarding page.

Baby Room

For parents with children under 2 years old, we have an allocated baby room with chairs, baby changing facilities, toys and a play mat that you can access during the service. The room is also equipped with a live stream of the main service so that you don’t have to miss a thing!
